A former hospitality professional, Sadhna is the founder of Aarasa and a self-taught art aficionado. After more than two decades in key posts in leading hotel chains, Sadhna was Regional Head of a leading publishing house. She freelanced for three years in the field of art before setting up Aarasa, her own firm, to provide art consultancy services.
Sadhna is driven by the belief that artists deserve recognition, financial support and the right to practice their art with dignity.

MohanMohan Vijayaraghavan, Creative Director

Creative director of Aarasa, Mohan Vijayaraghavan brings to the firm a formidable combination of creativity and absolute professionalism. Mohan shares the passion and vision of Aarasa and is driven by the organisation’s ideals.
An accomplished artist himself, Mohan’s watercolours have been displayed all over the world in the last 25 years. Mohan brings with him 23 years of peerless experience in creative art, design, illustration, painting and producing creative output in multiple formats of mass media advertising for a plethora of industries.

In the course of his considerable advertising career he has worked with giants such as Ogilvy, McCann Erickson, Grey Worldwide and Orchard India (Leo Burnett). When a project excites Mohan, nothing can stop him from going above and beyond to deliver exacting results.

As an artist, he is able to think differently and offer unique and meaningful perspectives to every project.

SurvikaSurvika Bhalotia, Consultant

A consultant for Aarasa in Singapore, Survika is motivated by her love for art. She holds a Masters in Business Administration and has many years of experience in the banking and retail industries.

Survika shares the vision of Aarasa and firmly believes in creating an ethical and transparent model that supports the interests of artists. She consistently delivers beyond expectations and has set high standards of excellence for Aarasa.

ArathiArathi, Consultant

Arathi is an artist, an art teacher and a collector of art who is a consultant for Aarasa based in Dubai. She specializes in traditional Mysore painting, but her knowledge in art extends to various forms including pottery, ceramics, mosaics and photography.
Arathi brings an artist’s perspective to the consultancy, with diverse experience in the field, as practitioner, teacher and collector.

Arathi is also a keen golfer and is a teacher to young artists.

EvelyneEvelyne Carlen, Consultant

Evelyne is a B.A in English Literature and Art History, and as a student she developed a passion for 20th century art, particularly for Louise Bourgeois' sculptures, Marcel Duchamp's 'readymades' and Mary Cassatt's portraits of mother and child.

She is also a M.A in Philosophy and Education from Columbia University, New York and has been trained as a Montessori Teacher in Dublin. She has worked as a Head Teacher in Montessori Schools in New York and Switzerland for more than 15 years.

Evelyne is proud to be a part of the Aarasa's team as it interacts with both artists and clients in a supportive, ethical and transparent manner and brings art work directly to the people while avoiding the high cost of galleries and other expensive art spaces.

She currently resides in London and loves to experience different cultures around the globe, particularly Indian. She also loves to ski and hike in the Swiss Alps where she’s originally from!

preetiPreethi Marla, Consultant

As a consultant for Aarasa, Preethi resides in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts and a Masters degree in Marketing & Public Relations.

Preethi began her career in the hospitality and public relations industry before co-founding InfoPro Solutions, Inc. With over 12 years of experience in Management and Finance and 6 years in Marketing and Public Relations, Preethi has returned to her love for art appreciation.

She is looking to promote Aarasa’s belief that art belongs everywhere and is committed to providing carefully curated artworks and personalized advisory services to art enthusiasts.


Poornima is an artist based in Mumbai who has always been driven by her passion for art. Her works primarily comprise of charcoal portraits though her interest in art has led her to explore other mediums in art.

Also an engineering graduate she has over 7 years of experience in one of the leading power companies in the country.

Poornima takes great pleasure in meeting artists and understanding their perception of art. She closely relates to Aarasa's founding principle to create a fair and transparent platform for artists.
